Game feel Projects

Drftz 4 Music - Ongoing Personal Project

Drftz 4 Music is a 3D rhythm game and my first attempt to create an “Interactive Video Clip”, inspired by Travis Scott’s Live concert in Fortnite. In this project, rather than having a song that improves a game experience I’m attempting to create an interactive experience that will boost the emotional valence of listening to a song, through play, without removing the player’s focus from the song itself

Field Punk - Game Director - Showcased at Pax West 2018

I Managed the information flow and communication between the art, programming, design, and audio teams

I Created and executed usability tests to determine the mechanic’s complexity and UI effectiveness.

I Designed the mechanics and narrative to then create the characters together with the art teams to create depth.

I Ran playtests to find and document problems in the design and bugs in the product (Over 300 hours of testing/data analysis).

Bullet Ballet - Solo Project

Bullet Ballet is a 2D 2-Player Strategy Shooting game made for a Sophomore class project. Take turns trying to survive waves of bullets shot by turrets controlled by the other player, plan the position of your turrets to block the survivor’s path, divert the survivor’s attention and hit them when they least expect it! But most importantly, survive at all costs!

Rock On! - Solo Project

This is a game menu of a musical game centered around guitars. I inspired myself in menus from titles such as God of War 5, Persona 5, and Solace to create a heavily themed, immersive menu that also tries to simulate a similar feeling and usability to the real-life object.

Starcrafting - Solo Project

In this project, I tried to iterate on the Starcraft original UI. This project is focused on improving the UX for new players and players that don’t use macros.

I Exist - Design Lead

I Designed and programmed the mechanic to interact with player input and change narrative to deliver the game’s message.

I Formulated the narrative and environment to incorporate the intended message.

I Ran playtests to identify problems in the design as well as to document bugs.
